Local-first by design

The Vardra vault, built for your desktop.

Vardra's macOS client is the control room for the vault: local unlock, item editing, browser pairing, recovery, encrypted sync, and package downloads all follow the same zero-knowledge boundary. Windows remains a planned desktop surface until signing and package proof are complete.

Desktop UX map

Every desktop action keeps the trust boundary visible.

01

Unlock locally

The desktop app opens the vault with your master password and device-held key material before any secret can be read.

02

Work from the native vault

Search, edit, generate, copy, reveal, and resolve sync conflicts without leaving the local app surface.

03

Bridge browser autofill

Extensions request matched items from the unlocked desktop vault instead of becoming a separate weak store.

04

Sync sealed payloads

The account service and relay move encrypted vault data. Plaintext stays inside the opened desktop client.
